GrantGather

Federal grants your nonprofit can actually apply for, explained in plain language.

Every morning we read the new listings on Grants.gov, set aside the ones built for universities and research labs, and explain the rest so you can tell in a minute whether one is worth your time.

Today Grants.gov lists 820 open grants that nonprofits are allowed to apply for. We set aside 666 that are really meant for research labs, universities, defense work, groups overseas, or invited organizations only. That leaves 140 with a current deadline.
